New to Affiliate Marketing? Click here for some important tips… ▼
Affiliate Marketing is a broad topic, and there are many different ways to go about it. Because of this, our affiliate team can’t teach you how to be an affiliate marketer – there’s just too much to cover it all in an email conversation.
But, we are happy to point you in the right direction, and you’ll find a good “getting started” overview below. With a bit of research and persistence, you’ll be a full-fledged marketer before you know it.
First take a moment to sign up with Clickbank.
Clickbank contains tons of great information on how to get started in Internet Marketing (aka “IM”), and you’ll need Clickbank account in order to promote our products. It’s free to sign up, and the information they provide is extremely helpful for anyone who’s new to this whole “make money online thing”.
There are thousands of blogs out there packed full of great tips and ideas on how to set up a basic business, how to maximize your profits, and everything in between.
Again, we recommend starting with Clickbank’s online lessons. With their most basic tools, you can go from zero to making sales in under an hour.
But if you’d like to continue your education, take a look at the blogs in this “Top 25” list put together by Affiliate Summit.
One important thing to remember – IM is evolving and changing every day, and it also happens to be a very popular online topic.
During your research, you will find dozens of different paid programs that promise to teach you the “secrets” of internet marketing. Some paid training products are very useful, but there are plenty of training products that are all hype… and no real content.
More importantly: there is a massive amount of great free information online that can be just as helpful as paid IM training programs.
Our advice: when you’re just starting out, don’t invest a ton of money in training or education. Your money will be better spent on building your marketing campaigns and starting up your business.
If you get stuck or confused, remember that answers are often only a quick Google search away. If you can’t find the answer on Google, there are many free online communities that are happy to help new marketers learn the ropes.
We hope that we’ve given you a good starting point, and we can’t wait to have you on board as an affiliate!
